FRM modules can fail for any number of reasons. The most common being a sudden change in voltage caused by a battery change or a jump start etc.

Common symptoms of FRM3 module failure:

Lights will not switch on or off, headlights stuck on, indicators not working.

Electric windows and panoramic sunroof not working correctly.

Loss of communication with the FRM3 module via OBD2 connection.

The FRM3 / FRM3R module is located behind the kick panel on the drivers side in all cases.

Upon purchase of this item, I will send you the address to send the item. Once received I will repair and send this back for you same day. There is an option for either special delivery or DHL Express postage in the checkout to ensure prompt, reliable return.

Also I can remove and install the module into your car for a small charge. This can either be at my workshop or at your home. I am located 5 minutes from M42 Junction 10.

Excellent FRM3 Repair

Unfortunately, I bricked my module with Carly scanner, a lesson learnt. I sent the module to David on a Tuesday via Royal Mail and received it back on Friday morning. Installed in the car, and everything is back to working how it should. It saved me the 500 that BMW wanted to install a new module. Excellent service. Thank you
